JAMES ANTHONY WILKERSON, FORMERLY OF NEPTUNE

James (Tony) Anthony Wilkerson, October 1958 to December 2009. Resident of Buena, after a 4 year long battle with his health has now gone home. James was born in Fort Gordon, Georgia, was raised in Neptune, NJ, moved to Arkansas at the age of 18 and later came back to Neptune in 1995. James then settled in the Vineland, Buena area in 2002 where he met his wife Darlene. James loved to be with his wife and children, as well as friends and family. He also liked to listen to rock-n-roll music, go bowling and loved his sports! James touched the lives of all who knew him with his kindness, generosity, and strength. He maintained his awesome sense of humor all the way home.
He was one of two children born to Frank and Julia Ann Wilkerson and was the beloved husband of Darlene (Perla) Wilkerson for 6 1/2 years. James will always be loved by his wife and their two children, Cody Wilkerson and Kati Crozier, and also the family dog Carter. He will also be remembered by his loving sisters, Sandy Ropel, Becky Torres, Debbie Beck, and Sherry Jones, as well as by his brother-in-laws. Also by many aunts, uncles, and his loving father-in-law, Joe Perla, along with countless friends and family who were blessed to know him.
Friends and family are invited to attend a party in James honor on Tuesday December 8, 2009 at 6:00pm, at the home on 149 Berti Rd. Buena Acres, Williamstown, NJ 08094.
