Reminiscence of Yesterday
What time has given us
The years will not erase.
Those special moments of laughter
And happy memories shared.
The smiles exchanged
The projects completed
The lessons learned.
Searching for a future
And finding a friend.
We each lived it a different way
Exploring our own dreams.
But together we united at the end.
From those who chose to cheer outloud
From those who sat quietly in the stands,
The victories, defeats, pride and spirit
Will be remembered.
There’s no need to go further
No way to go back.
To the years that brought us closer,
To the friendships we’ve gained.
To the knowledge we’ve achieved,
We leave a wishful goodbye
And a reminiscence of yesterday.
